Good day today, but have been importing a new package from the group I trade with, so I lost my setups.

So just a screenshot of the market analyzer today.

One thing that worked twice today that warrants further research, when a setup occurs that you don't take, but the price pulls back to near the would-be-stop, it may be worth taking an entry there, risking maybe 4-5 ticks instead of 15.

Another crap day.  Didn't come out on top, but that's ok, this was not a disaster.  The important thing was I eventually figured out how crappy it was and sat out.

The thing to really take from today is almost every single one of my trades got to like +9 or more then came back to stop me out.  I'd be massively up if I closed early.  Granted, I need to follow my rules, but my trading partners sensed that momentum was slowing and closed their trades early and had profitable days.   This is the biggest thing I need to figure out.  How to read when to walk away.

Crappy day overall.  Market just didn't want to move.  There's major support on all the instruments preventing everything from really dropping.


Had a losing morning, but came back in the afternoon and snagged 24 extra ticks which pushed me into the profitable zone.

Hard day today, but still came out on top.

I've been moving my stops a bit too aggressively, and against my strategy, and it's screwed me.  I'm on one contract per instrument now, so it's a bit hard to get it quite right until you can do 2 contracts.  I'm just taking it nice and slow.

Anyway, less than elegant, but still worked out.

Super day today.

Only traded for an hour, got my nut, then packed up shop.

Was too lazy to post on friday, but it was a -14.  Not bad for a losing day.  Today more than covered it.

Another winning day.

Very quick day, got my profits and packed up.  I'm not going to sit around and give back my winnings.  When I'm good and up, I call it a day.

Just made a few oil trades and one YM trade today.

So, some friends and I have been making a major transition in our trading from scalping in forex to making larger trades in futures.  I no longer trade the rainbow, only this new renko system.

Special thanks to Sim-FX from sim-fx.blogspot.com and JMFIII from scalppipping.blogspot.com for the help and encouragement.

For a while I tried trading this method for the London session, and it was just awful.  Now that I'm on the verge of leaving my job, I can actually trade NYC.  Making that switch has been HUGE and I've had great success on NYC so far.

For now I will be only trading NQ, YM and CL.

I won't be posting every day because this is a pain the in ass.
